Today we got to re-xray Panda and he is showing great improvement. The kyphosis is not nearly as bad as it had been but there is some scoliosis forming. Between the xrays and lack of pain in the area; the spondylitis looks to be ruled out. He has been going through lots of physical therapy and with each new day he gets that much better. 4 weeks ago he could not walk due to the paresis in the hindlimbs but he now can walk short distances.

Kyphosis puppy...
This is a 5 week old mix breed that we are working with (and may add to our pack) because he has kyphosis of his spine in the thoraco-lumbar region. As a result has no feeling in the hind legs but does have motor reflexes and can move the limbs (although they are severely atrophied). He was unable to walk at first but after a few days of good nutrition and lots of stimulation he has begun to stand on his own and attempt to walk. We hope that in time he will be able to walk on his own. These shots was taken with my 1d mkIII and 50 1.2L.
