NYC trip...

I had the opportunity to take a trip down to NYC on the 19th of December. It turned out to be a wonderful but freezing winter day. I did some shopping in between my site seeing just to keep warm. I took all shots with my 1d mkIII and 17-40L.

Walter Panas vs Peekskill Varisty Girls Basketball

Today I got the chance to shoot some high school basketball (my sister is on the team). My sisters team lost by 8 but made a nice come back in the last 5 minutes even though ultimately they couldn't pull off a win over Peekskill. From a photographers aspect, it was your typical poorly lite gym so I used my 1d mkIII and 70-200 2.8L IS for all the shots.

Largest Full Moon In 15 Years...

This was shot with my 1d mkIII and 70-200 2.8L IS with a 1.4x converter. I had to take advantage of the largest full moon in 15 years. I just wish I had one of my bigger lenses with me to get a little closer. I guess I will have to wait another 15 years.

Bill and Arielle

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of doing an engagement session with Bill and Ariel; they were an absolute blast to work with. If all clients were this great to work with I would have a very easy job.

Green Vervet Monkey

This shot was taken several weeks ago in a friends backyard. I was out taking pictures and saw this guy at a distance and was able to get a quick capture before he vanished into the trees.

Shipwrecks

Here is a HDR shot of a local beach called "Shipwrecks" here in St. Kitts. This shot was taken handheld with my 1d mkIII and 17-40L with 7 exposures.

Welcome...

This is my first of many posts to come on my new blog. I will be updating it as much as possible and trying to post pictures regularly as well. Above is a shot taken before my rugby game against Windsor in which we beat them 112 to 0. It wasn't a pretty game to say the least.
